IDEAM SCHEMATIC navigates the creative process involved in the production of an art project. It is the sketch of a concept. Words and phrases appear in chalk sometimes strikethrough, sometimes illegible; it seems ephemeral, but it is quite the opposite. These artworks function as a record, an archive of captured thoughts conceived for a specific project. Nonetheless, each piece is much more than a mere document or testimony of something else; they work independently of the projects that gave them origin.

They perpetuate a moment of the artistic practice while simultaneously evidencing the ways of our thinking. This series is a sneak peek into the intricacies of the mind. Just as seeing the sketch for a painting or visiting an artist’s studio, it unveils the intimacy of the creative process.
